Franck Kessie is a professional soccer player from the Ivory Coast. He currently plays as a central midfielder for Italian club AC Milan and the Ivory Coast national team.

Kessie began his career with the Ivorian club Stella Club d’Adjamé before moving to Atalanta in Italy in 2015. He played for Atalanta for two seasons before joining AC Milan in 2017.

Kessie has also represented the Ivory Coast at various youth levels and made his senior debut for the national team in 2016. He is widely regarded as one of the best midfielders in the Serie A league.

Franck Kessie AC Milan Career

Franck Kessie joined Italian club AC Milan in 2017 from Atalanta, where he was playing for two seasons. He signed a two-year loan deal with Milan, with an option to buy, and quickly established himself as an important player in the team. He made his debut for the club on August 20, 2017, in a 2-0 victory over Crotone. Kessie quickly became a regular in the starting lineup, playing in midfield and showing strong performances, his physicality, work rate and technique made him a fan favorite.

During his first season with Milan, Kessie made 35 appearances in all competitions, scoring 8 goals and providing 3 assists. He was a key player in the team that finished 6th in the Serie A and reached the semi-finals of the Italian Cup. His performances earned him the club’s Player of the Season award.

In 2018-19 season, Kessie continued his strong performances, making 36 appearances and scoring 5 goals. He was once again an important player for the team, helping them to secure a 4th place finish in the Serie A, thus qualifying for the Europa League.

Kessie’s loan deal with Milan was made permanent in 2019 and he signed a new contract until 2024. He has continued to be a regular player for the team, playing an important role in midfield and proving to be a strong and consistent performer for the team in the Serie A and Europa League.
