Dubai (Sports Champic) — Lahore Qalandars are chasing a target of One Hundred and Eighty (180) runs after magnificent batting performance of Multan.
Lahore Qalandars lost their three wickets of Sunil Narine, Captain Brenadom McCullum and Umar Akmal in 13 overs on 110.
Multan Sultans batting was mostly good as opening pair Kumar Sangakkara and Ahmad Shahzad gave a blazing start. They did not lost any wicket in 10 overs.
Shahzad was out by Mustafizur Rahman while Yasir Shah got through the defense of Sohaib maqsood and bowled him out. Multan gave target of 179 with the loss of five in their 20 overs to Qalandars.
Sangakkara top schored made 62 from 44 balls. He hit three sixes while Skipper Shoiab Malik scored 48 runs on 28 balls.
Qalandars won the toss and elected to bowl first against Multan Sultan. Multan Sultan was already one up in the serious with their win against Peshawar Zalmi yesterday.
