Sangakkara, Malik Star as Multan win PSL 3 opener

Experienced campaigners Sangakkara and Shoaib Malik guided newcomers Multan Sultans to a very easy  7 wickets Win in the Pakistan Super League 2018 opener over Peshawar Zalmi in Dubai on 22nd February (Thursday). After Ahmed Shehzad and Sohaib Maqsood fell in the first half of inning they rebuild the run chase of 152 for victory. Also Watch PSL 2018 Live Match Here

Ahmad Shehzad was out for a duck when got a top-edged and caught at fine leg and Maqsood was caught at long on for. Maqsood made 21 on 16 ball. One time Sultans were 68 on 2 wickets and needing more 84 in the remaining Ten overs. Sangakkara and Malik take their time and focused on rotating strike before taking on Ibtisam Sheikh. Malik hit Darren Sammy for a four which was followed by Sangakkara bringing up his half-century with a six over fine leg. This time Sultans were in very control of the chase need another 48 in six overs. Even Wahab took the wicket of Sangakkara, he made 57 runs. At the end Peshawar Zalmi clearly short by 15 runs. Muhammad Irfan gave a perfect start to Sultan getting both Openers Kamran Akmal and Tamim Iqbal in the Power Play and Dwayne Smith also set back by Imran Tahir. That time Zalmi were in big trouble and lots of hopes on Mohammad Hafeez.
