Why Do People Celebrate Valentine Day?
Valentine’s Day, also known as Valentine’s Day or Valentine’s Day, is celebrated on February 14th every year.
Through subsequent folk customs, it has become an important cultural and economic celebration of romance and love in many parts of the world.
Valentine’s Day is marked by a number of martyrdom stories, including one about Saint Valentine of Rome, who was imprisoned in the third century for helping Christians persecuted by the Roman Empire.
According to the old legend, Saint Valentine healed his jailer’s blind daughter. Many later additions to the legend have strengthened its connection to the theme of love.
For example, an 18th-century addition to the legend has it that he wrote the jailer’s daughter a letter to “Your Valentine” as a parting gift before his execution.
